Facebook messages stuck in the phones history

Is there a way to erase the Charge's Facebook messaging history. When I go to my phones history I am able to erase all of my chat, SMS, and MMS history but not my Facebook messages. The phone notifies me it is unable to erase "SNS" messages. Does anyone know exactly what this means? And more importantly, is there a way around it???

Might be able to go into Settings Applications Facebook and Clear Data. It will require you to put in your email/password login information again but should delete it.
