Facebook messenger not always showing 'seen"

Facebook messenger isn't always showing whether the person gas seen my message sometimes it does and many times it doesn't. I stop the app but it didn't help. So annoying.

yeah, that feature resides on Facebook servers and it doesn't 'live' very long. The READ message can be sent to your device, but if for some reason the connection is lost, so is the status sometimes. Unfortunately there's not much you can do on that front.

It seems my device always drops the connection too.
