'Facebook session expired' in notification bar

Hi all,
So I am getting this message pop up in my notification bar about every 30 minutes to an hour. It says' facebook session expired' and asks you to log in again. This is naturally suspicious, so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the facebook app. No luck. I then just removed the facebook app altogether, also no luck. I then figured it was some kind of malware so I installed lookout security and scanned for malware. Lookout didn't find anything and I still get the notification. I am at a loss at this point so I figured I would ask the community for help/similar experiences/suggestions. Anything helps! I will include screenshots of what I am seeing.

This past week, I have had Samsung/Android problems with sessions expiring or session variables being cleared whenever a page has changed. I think this issue has come from an update but I can't be sure.
