Fast charging pad really slow

I let battery drain down to 11% before laying on fast charging pad. It said it would take 2 hours and 11 minutes to full charge,
but it took 3:35, almost an additional 90 minutes. Is this normal? I've only had the phone less than a week, and this was the
first time I drained it down so low. It's also not lasting long on a charge. I hardly used it and it drained to 11% in less than 2 days.
Is battery life supposed to improve after a few cycles? I am still within 2 week period where I can return it to Costco for another one.
My Note5 battery lasted much longer than this larger one. Makes no sense.

BTW... phone was turned off during charging.

Thanks

It happens sometimes on my Samsung charging stand. Normally it takes about 2hrs or so but sometimes it can take longer.

On my Note 5, it usually takes about 30 minutes less but that's because it has a smaller battery. Wireless charging will always take more time then wired will.

I usually get anywhere between 2-4hrs and 1-2 days standby on my Edge. This is normal for me. I barely get an hour of usage on my Note 5 with one dsy standby.

What kind of wall adapter are you using? Anker has some fast qi chargers and their info indicates that you need a QC 3.0 adapter
