Fedex delivering 2/22/22

I checked Fedex manager and it won't let me choose a delivery time slot. I thought there was a way to request a time slot? I work late tonight so I don't want to have to be up by 9am.
 
Mine package from Samsung delivered today . . . or at least the box was. Got all the accessories and the tablet I ordered but NO S22 Ultra. Box handed straight to me from FedEx, no damage or evidence of being tampered with. Everything inside neatly wrapped. But NO PHONE. No box for phone. Have spent all day talking to and chatting with Samsung. Had to get police report filed and send pictures of box, etc. And all they can possibly do is refund phone and let me order again. Which means I wont get until April at earliest. I started ordering it at 2 minutes after you could on 2/9/22. And as of right now no guarantee they will really do anything. Took 4 people before anyone would even help me. Been a crappy day and I needed to vent.

I hope Samsung will get everything rectified for you!
 
I ordered on 2/17 with a 3/4 delivery date listed on the order. This morning I got a shipment notice from Samsung and FedEx, both have 2/24 delivery date. I went into FedEx Manager and it said delivering early, 2/23. Ok, cool. This afternoon Samsung sent me an email that the shipment would be delayed to 2/24 and when I go their site the new delivery date is 2/23. I'm now confused on when it will arrive, but will be happy when it finally gets here.
 
I appreciate the replies. I needed some camaraderie in my frustration from a group who would understand better than my husband ; ). It has taken all I have to not lose my s..t today. I went on and reported to credit card company just in case I keep getting the shaft from Samsung. And I may just go on and re-order from elsewhere once I get a credit issued. That had not occured to me so thank you for idea and for the replies!!
 
Same weirdness happened to me with the second email from Samsung saying shipment delayed but not showing a delay. Got the package even earlier (albeit sans phone).

I'm sorry to hear it... What a bummer!... Did they list the stuff that was supposed to be in the box?.. like a checklist paper

Good thing to dispute it. You never know with crappy Samsung service. If I wasn't trading in I'd go via Amazon or Best Buy for sure. Only difference is you get the phone a couple days later but less headache if there are any issues and Best Buy you can pickup in person and Amazon has the lockers.
 
Mine's growing roots in Irvin TX supposed to be here in SE Idaho tomorrow. Could make it, plane to SLC, truck to Idaho Falls, then delivery to my house. But they sure are cutting it close.

I'm the same. Mine is scheduled for delivery in Los Angeles tomorrow before 2000 yet it's been sitting in Irving, Texas since yesterday morning!

I have not had a Samsung phone since Note 3. Now I remember why I switched to other android devices . . . the crappy customer service. But not much else out there that intrigued me this time around. I am in rural area where closest Best Buy is about 3 hrs away and I dont even know what Amazon Lockers are. On Line is all I got. My FedEx, UPS and USPS delivery people are well known to me. Hopefully one can bring me the actual phone someday soon after I get it re-ordered. Need the credit back first though.
 
I just sent FedEx a message which didn't fill me with confidence when they replied "there is a chance the package will be late delivered tomorrow but the final commitment date is the 23rd. It depends what time we load on the trailer."

Surely if you put a date on the app saying it will be delivered on my face by a certain time then that is what You commit to. I have no faith that it will arrive tomorrow.
 
I'm starting to believe depending on the FedEx location they are choosing to hold them or just deliver them. I've seen a few people get there delivery date change from tomorrow to today. I wish mine would update instead stalling in Houston.

Yes, FedEx is holding phones until the date they say they are supposed to deliver.
Example: I had 2 packages coming today. 1 from Sam's Club and the other from Samsung. Both tracking numbers said "on FedEx truck out for delivery". Sam's Club order was delivered. Around 4pm checked the app it now says "package not due for delivery". A new shipping date of 2/22.
That is my son's phone. My phone has been sitting in Memphis, TN since 7:49am 2/20. Mine is also supposed to be delivered tomorrow 2/22 but it hasn't moved.

Original date was listed as 2/25 until I received tracking info. Then it changed to 2/22. Also Samsung.com updated with 2/22.
