Fedex stole my fold 4 return

Yeah my wife last year used the wrong return label to send a phone back. The return label was for a previous phone return but was for a Samsung phone. It made it there, they sent the customary "We've received your device" email and then it went off the grid. Suddenly no one knew wherebit was. It took me a month and a half of constantly calling Samsung, escalating it to supervisors, emailing Corp before they finally mysteriously found the return.

Moral of my story, and I know it's a little different as my package actually made it there, but stay on them and do not let up. It will take you a whole lot of raising cane to get some action..

It's really appalling how this seems to be increasing in frequency. I'm surprised the story hasn't been making the rounds in the press -- maybe that would light a fire under FedEx and/or Samsung to address the problem.

There are those in our society just a scum that has no value, we all living in it and seen it daily. Hell, look at California (SF/LA), Oregon and other area that allowing people to loot the store and letting them getting away with it.

I agree, that's really infuriating. In those situations, though, it has more to do with trying to ensure the safety of the employees (and customers) by instructing them not to "act the hero" and risk getting killed by the perps. I think the goal is to allow the surveillance systems in the store identify them and help catch them later. Not sure what the success rate is, though.

Actually Best Buy is matching, and in some cases beating Samsungs deals... and that's in store only. They won't ship for these deals. So you walk in with your trade-ins, and walk out with your new phone/buds etc. I posted a link earlier in this thread about it. I think Best Buy see's a new opportunity to get people in the door... and they're right.

Before the pandemic I hadn't been in my local Best Buy in ages (ordered everything online), in the last year I've bought 3 phones and multiple other items from them. Brick and Mortars that deal and price match are making a comeback :p

That and Samsung has a partnership with them. It's just like ordering online to pick up at a best buy store except you skip the Samsung website and go straight to the store.

If I remember correctly best buy was doing hardly anything for the pre-order.

Samsung needs to get a better partnership with them and have it so trade INS and returns can be taken there. If I was given the option to pick up and turn my trade in at best but going thru Samsung I would have done that. Best buy didn't seem to be doing much for pre-order promos for the fold 4, if I remember correctly the 512 wasn't available, at least for my area. If I could go to best buy and buy a phone for exact pricing and promo offers that Samsung offers I would go that route as it's always better to deal directly then thru the mail and Samsung customer service.
