Fedex stole my fold 4 return

Guys I got good news they are going to refund me. So happy woohoo!!!

I stress just hearing these stories, im sending my s22u in by tomorrow took videos of everything like normal
I was stressing myself a little as I sent in my fold 3 for trade in on the fold 4, hoping I don't have the same issue. Fortunately I just received the trade in successful email.
 
Thankfully they received my S22U trade-in on Aug. 26 but I haven't gotten the trade-in successful email yet.
 
I just sent mine in yesterday and took video and pictures of every possible thing I could including how I taped the box in case I had to forensically prove (lol) the box was tampered with during shipment. I even got the fed ex clerks name that took my package. A bit excessive but I'm paranoid.

They will just claim what you sent the wrong item in ;-P They tried that when I traded in my watch.
 
Hey here is my update of my 2nd issue the trade in. I sent my wife's galaxy s22 on the 30th and no movement at all and just called samsung and they said everything is perfect No charge back. What a relief.
Is samsung customer service getting better or they know something fishy is going on with fedex?

Sometimes FedEx package level details just simply didn't populate correctly and left customer wondering. Glad this turned out well and Samsung got the trade.
 
That's crazy having problems with both your returns. FedEx needs to have better control on their employees or something. It seems that there is obviously someone that is stealing, probably from your drop-off location.

This scenario played right into missed handling (theft). This happened to me during the Watch4 preordering rollout. I never got the items, and end up missing out PreOrdering discount. Good luck, and keep us update.

Samsung and FelonEx both know that 99.9% of these problems are phones being stolen in transit :-\
 
Did not receive my email or package

Been waiting for several packages to get to me but hard these days with all the hackers

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry to hear about that. To be accurate, these aren't hackers -- they're almost certainly just common thieves, likely working within FedEx or other delivery companies.
 
Hi I just got an email of my return and they send me a video and the box was empty out. The only thing there was the case box and the case of the buds. Do you guys know how to resolve this issue?? I don’t want to loose almost $2000

Lol. This happened to me. My drop off weight was 2.5 and the weight when tracing dropped to 1.5. I called FedEx before it was delivered and was told it could be due to Samsung label already having a weight on it. Two days later got the email from Samsung with a video showing the fold, Watch and bus’s had been cut out of their packaging. Filed with FedEx but was denied. I’m overseas until early October and will deal with them then. I filed a police report but can’t obtain it since I travelled. I intend to take FedEx to small claims court if they don’t pay. How can their employer just steal a package and the customer is responsible.

You're much better off dealing with Samsung than FedEx, Samsung will correct the issue if you keep calling and escalate it. I've never seen FedEx do anything... they define the word "useless" :-\

Yeah but I feel like I don't want to allow fedex employees to just be able to steal and get away with it. Basically fedex is saying we don't care that our employees steal.

I doubt that, any carrier take theft very seriously. Even rewards other work to report theft.
