That no Verizon store near me has the G7 in stock at all. Seems they do not even carry it in store. After having the Note8 a year, tired of the height of it. Hardly use the S Pen. Just wanted to check it out. It's a shame.

But I did go to Best Buy, minus hand of Thanos on the back of the phone, felt nice from what I could tell. Screen looked nice. Even with the size, didn't feel huge. Put up against the Note, still small.

But looking at the notch, seemed the black comes down farther than it would really need to when the 'second screen' option was on. But other wise I left it on and it looked nice to me.

I went from a Note 8 to the G7 myself, for the same exact reasons you stated. I love it!
