In my opinion, they are the worst of any phone I have had. At least 50 percent of the time, not one of my four prints works. Very disappointing. I also miss the iris scan in Samsung Pay.

I've come the conclusion that some people's fingers work better than others. Mine works pretty good except when my fingers are dry.I fully agree, most disappointing part of the Note 20 Ultra for me, I actually enter the 4 digit pin most of the time as it's faster.
Even that awful swipe FPS on the Note 4 worked better.
Reset it multiple times, but it always requires my finger in the exact right spot at the right angle with the right amount of pressure or it fails. I've got no screen protector.
It's not just you.I don't use a screen protector. Yeah, it must just be me. I have never had fingerprint problems with any other phone.

Yeah...everyone has a different experience. My Note and S series up through the 20s inscreen FPS were and are pretty reliable. While it's not as easy or reliable as the dedicated scanner on my Note 9, I don't have many problems even with a Tocol glass screen protector on it. I turned up the sensitivity, then registered my prints. No biggie.
