Fingerprint issues

Fingerprint unlock only works about 20% of the time. Am I the only one having this issue? When I try to unlock using the fingerprint sensor, it almost always tells me to do the 2nd unlock (Pin code) and it is so annoying. I hope it's just me and not most V30s. My previous phone was the LG G6 and I had the same issues with the fingerprint sensor.

I just got my V30 and I haven't had an issue with the sensor. It's actually been the best one I've ever used. If your phone is under warranty, take it back and have it exchanged.

yeah, same here. I almost never get a reject.

I use my FP sensor all the time and have it set for both my L & R index fingers... It works great IMO.

If my hands are pretty dirty (and we live on a farm, so that is a lot) or wet, it can be a bit persnickety.

I use Nova.

When you setup your fingerprint, do you touch the sensor with different parts of your finger tip each press to maximize the area it identifies? Also it's quite possible you have faint fingerprints, I know some people that FPS' don't work well on. Maybe try a different finger and/or hand and see if it helps any. Or it could just be that phone/sensor. I like most others here, have had 0 problems with mine, and I use Nova as well.
