I can empathize. I got the BOGO deal. On one unit the fps worked acceptably after it received an update. The other never received the update and the fps was a not-even half-working PITA. I exchanged that one and the replacement is great. Both the ones that now work great are the 512GB ceramic models.The FPS is an effin joke, works roughly 50% of the time. Registered and re-registered same finger twice, removed screen protector and what not. Samsung support gave me their "update coming/dry skin/learning curve" spiel. Where's the learning curve on Note 9, S9? What a sham. Just kills me when I need to access phone fast and have to keep pressing this BS thing. Returning tomorrow.
Exchange yours for a replacement or just forego the S10 series for now. Sammy will continue to iron out the bugs.
