I prefer chrome as my default browser, but can't decide between Firefox or Xscope for my secondary browser with Flash. What do you guys think?

I'm told that Firefox doesn't support HD flash. I find that Chrome does fine because 99.9 percent of my browsing doesn't need flash, but when I do I use Xscope.

Take look at Boat Browser. It's a very good all around browser and is Flash capable.

Stock android browser works awesome. Will need root to get it working.

Xscope looks primitive and under developed. Fire fox is buttery smooth and the better browser IMO.

Don't even consider Firefox, it doesn't support HD flash. In other words, any flash content you load will be ungodly blurry. When I tried Firefox, I thought there was something wrong with flash--but then I read it didn't support HD and I guess that makes all the difference.

xScope isn't great (lots of customization options but inconvenient to access them-doesn't obey things like rotation lock so you have to do that in-app) but if you're only using it for flash, its definitely the better option. Never tried Boat though.

Isn't the "stock" browser just a lite version of Safari? I'd rather not use it.

Uh safari is apple. This is Google's browser. It's nothing like safari. I tend to like the stock browser better than any other

I used Xscope until I put the stock AOSP broswer on my Nexus 7.

Would prefer the stock browser, don't know why they don't bring it back, but for the N7 as a substitute, I'm xScope fan. Bear in mind though that my connection at home sucks, so HD is out for me anyway, but for other bandwiths, xScope fills the bill quite nicely.

Thanks for all of the answers. Thanks especially for those who recommended boat browser, which I find to be exceptional.

I just installed xscope because firefox wouldn't do amazon prime videos fullscreen, and as mentioned, it was blurry. I'm watching a vid on xscope right now, fullscreen, and nice & clear. Haven't worked with Boat or the stock browser on the N7, so I can't comment on those, but between Firefox & xscope, xscope won for me.

I'm using xscope but I guess it's not the Pro version because it was free. It works well but it keeps locking up. Do I need to get the paid version? I have tried Firefox, Dolphin and just tried Boat. Boat wouldn't open the site I tried to go to, Firefox works but the display format is weird, Dolphin plays video in shot blips. What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried leaving the video in Firefox running for a little while. When I go to fullscreen, it starts out quite fuzzy, but within 30 seconds, the picture is great.

1+ FireFox. Has been updated in last wk., ? HD now. I'm a huge FF fan, open source all the way!! No Chrome is not open source.

I just updated Aurora/Firefox and tried Amazon Prime videos again, with the same result - full screen doesn't work. Does it work for you?
