firmware update to android 4.2.2

I haven't really tested it thoroughly enough to comment on increased battery usage but I'm beginning to think that may be the case. I'll know more as time goes on.

All these alleged "improvements" are beginning to take a toll on me to the extent that I'm seriously beginning to consider buying another Note 8.0 that still has 4.1.2 on it then making sure it NEVER gets updated. We were so happy with everything on the tablet as it came originally. I'm gonna keep looking for a way to get the old ROM back. If use of the recovery console is not an option, I'd be willing to let loose with another $400 so the wife is happy again. Happy wife...happy life.

Please someone tell me I can reflash this thing to make it right again!!!

Cleotis- I was wondering the same thing. Just got my AT&T Note 8.0. Although with these issues, I may be ok with 4.1.2. What I really want is for the S-Pen features to match the Note 3. Air command would be great

I just switched off the automatic update option. Strangely I still have the 4.1.2, but after reading lot of complaints, I'd rather decide myself to update or not. Is it really that bad?
