first smart phone

so i got my first smartphone going today, the samsung infuse 4g, it was stuck in a loop caused by the power button. getting a straight talk sims in a few days im gonna get it activated. already have it running 2.3.6, and got it rooted aswell
any suggestions on what to do next?
