Personally I like trackball as a backup in case I shatter my screen. Ask all the iPhone users out there how usable their phone is once the screen is cracked. Although I would prefer HTC move on to the optical trackpad.

My cousin broke her's yesterday and it looks a mess. It still works though she now has seven years of bad luck to go along with that fat ass contract.

I don't see why they add the trackball when you have a touchscreen I never use mine except to for when I get a message or text and see it light up.

trackballs are nice for scrolling through multiple links in a row, or such things in emails messages ect. sometimes even small fingers fatfinger the wrong link ect.

They should have done an optical pad though as already stated.
