I love my G3 I think it's the best phone I've ever had.

Great thing about Sprint version a lot of the bloatware can be uninstalled

I have 3 G3's in my household and I'm happy to say all 3 run exactly the same perfect with none of the flaws mention here or any other forums.
Well except the notification LED doesn't always work and the stock keyboard app is a little laggy and doesn't responds well when you're fast typer like myself, but I switched it out with SwiftKey.

Does anybody who has the G3 for T-Mobile have the same issues as everyone else? Cause I would like to know considering I am with T-Mobile except I don't have the G3 I have the G2 and was thinking about upgrading within a month or so.
The radio was disabled? Thought it was part of the tuner module on the Korean version and there is no FM radio on the 801.
The sound in headphones is actually pretty good to my ears. I'm not a sound engineer but I have pretty good ears and am a big music fan. Not bad. Have you tried disabling the HDR mode in the camera? A LOT faster without that!I've got it on T-Mobile. I'm seriously considering returning it. I have the same camera speed issues as the original post, and I find the sound in the headphones to be underwhelming at best. My LEDs work fine, and as far as I can tell I don't have the problems resulting from low signal strength, either. But the slow camera speed and mediocre headphone sound makes me wish I'd kept my M7.
Notification lights working OK now.
The only serious issue I still have is the headphone jack.
There are times when I am previewing notification sounds in the settings where, even though I am plugged into headphones, the sound comes out of BOTH the speaker and the headphones.
More seriously, I'm still having that problem of plugging in the G3 to my car stereo AUX in, with a standard 3.5mm cord. I plug in and the music still comes out of the speaker. Have to try for 10-20 tries before it finally "takes". Super PITA because I use this method every day.. Never had this issue with Samsung. also getting that annoying "spark sound" between tracks and have had the sound just quit after one of these "spark noises"...which means trying to hook it all back up again. I really wish there was a solution for this.
Can anyone with a car "AUX in" test this and see if it's just me or not? Maybe Toyota has a weird sensitivity in the front end of the stereo amp they use.
Was in a Tmobile store and the HTC One M8 was next to the LG G3. I decided to do a speedtest on each one and in the store, the LG3 was getting 14, 15 mbps tops. The HTC was pulling 36 mbps. Legitimate?
I never got over 2.5 mbps on my Iphone 4 using the Sprint service I had. When I got the HTC One, my daughter and my parents all said the calls were coming through so much better on my phone, at the house, and even when i was in the car using Tmobile service on bluetooth.
Happy I switched to Tmobile, but am concerned with battery life on the HTC .
Also, can someone explain the screen differences between these two phones? I still have time left to switch phones to the LG3, if that is what I want to do. It was between these two as I had ruled out the Samsung Galaxy 5 and the Note is too big, but the HTC is at least an improvement for me over the Iphone 4
I use mine with the aux plug into a aftermarket car stereo with no spark sounds and no sound coming from the speaker while plugged in.

Sounds like the headphone jack in the phone is faulty. Those staticy sounds you're getting are usually an indicator of a bad connection and you're having problems with headphones and you car cable.Thanks. Might be some strange interaction between my stereo and the G3.

Did both models suffer the problem you're having with sound coming out of the phone speakers while headphones or other cables are in the jack?Nope, it's not a mechanical electrical connection issue. I replaced my G3 two days ago and new one exhibits same behavior. the spark noise is not generated by the cord/jack connection. It's generated by the LG or the stereo itself. I get the same noise hooking up the cord as I do between every track when the music is playing in a normal sequential manner.
