Five days with the LG G3 and I'm about ready to send this back!

It could be the car stereo reacting poorly? This person keeps talking about aux, but I am unclear whether HEADPHONES had been attempted with the same result...

he stated that the phone speakers kept using sound both when tried with headphones and with the car aux cable into the headphone jack

The sound in headphones is actually pretty good to my ears. I'm not a sound engineer but I have pretty good ears and am a big music fan. Not bad. Have you tried disabling the HDR mode in the camera? A LOT faster without that!

I did disable HDR, which helped. I find that photos outside are better, but inside are slower, and if you're in a lower-light situation, such as daytime in a large enclosed space, the lower light ends up with blur if there's more than a little motion. So--get more megapixels than the M8 so that I can actually zoom, but then if I zoom I can see the blurriness in the photos due to the weaker G3 light sensor. *shrugs*

I find that the sound quality isn't bad at all, but it does not get very loud. If I can hear the ambient noise of the subway over heavy music, I shudder to think how inadequate it will be for the crying baby in the seat behind me on the next flight I take...

My Galaxy Note III also makes a loud pop through the headphone jack when the Music player switches songs. Does anybody know of a fix for this?

I agree with the reception issues. I'm on my second G3 (D850) and reception is terrible. At home I have 1-3 bars and half the time I can't make or receive phone calls. Sometimes it will just drop service randomly for 10 mins or longer

Last night at dinner I was struggling to get any service and be on edge. Meanwhile my wife's S5 is just hanging out on LTE.

I'm really about to sell this thing and get a nexus 5

I have Verizon. I'm in a good signal area. However, My G3 has a stronger and much more consistent signal than my HTC Droid DNA that it is replacing.

I had really bad reception issues with mine as well and ultimately that's why I sold it. Really loved the phone but it would be in places where everyone else had great signal so yeah. I don't think it's all the phones but some of us just got unlucky. My nexus 5 didn't have great signal either, but it was better.

Every phones has its flaws. I like my G3 (though I would probably rather have an M8 now)
