Dear Google - anyone there reading these forums? Sometimes apps are busted or otherwise suck in their current incarnation (eg Clarisketch) ... Would be really nifty if I could choose to be alerted re: new updates without having to have the app installed on my device.

Anyone else like this idea?

So you want to know when apps are updated that you are not using? Is that you uninstalled the app because of a bug or other issue and you want to know when it's fixed so you can install it again?

If you are talking about apps getting updated without your knowledge then you can simply go to play store settings and select do not auto update apps.

Hi Vidjunky :) - Yes, these are the kinds of things I'm thinking of... It doesn't happen a lot, but enough that I'd think it would be a useful feature. Also new paid apps that I'd like to keep an eye on - waiting for more features to be added before buying.
