For Real this time: EB16 Kernels

not likely , since whenever i try to flash a voodoo kernel with odin you need to use cwm to enable lagfix to make it do the conversion, just learn to use clockwork start here

Great googily moogily dude. What kind of a mess did you leave me? There were more random threads scattered all over the forums tonight than flies over a pasture full of cow doodoo. :p One more day closer to the laptop  And doodoo made me think of voodoo. May have to try it this weekend just for experimental purposes and just to see what everyone is talking about. That way if there is not a real noticeable difference, at least I can tell people I tried it and I'm speaking from experience when I tell them there isn't a big difference in how fast your phone is.

sorry dude lol i have been so crazy busy at work, we have a new full time mod so we can get this cleaned up ;)

I am running SC 2.9.1 and just flashed this kernel. Noob question time... what benefits will I see?

And yes, I do flash/upgrade to almost anything new because I am an upgrade junkie!

the answers to your question are in the first post :)

Ok... Battery is beeping at 15% after only 5 hours on this kernel. Is there a way to go back to the one that came with 2.9.1?

I flashed eb16 kernal last night over my theme. Strangely today my phone rebooted on its own (i think) and when it loaded back up, my wallpaper had changed and I couldn't access settings. Went back to 2.9 themeless and everything seems fine now. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this.

it will always say that , the only way i know to check for details of the kernel is purchasing setcpu, but thats not worth doing, when you flash the kernel you should see the screen bug out in blue lettering, thats the way you know it was applied,,,,and is that a task killer i see in the notification bar, better off without that, your system will respond better and have more battery life, if you truely need to end a task, hold down the home button and there is a task manager that comes with the phone but you shouldnt really need to do that.
