I've enabled developer options and am able to change the default bluetooth audio codec from SBC to LDAC. Every time I either close settings (but leave developer options on) or restart the phone, it reverts back to SBC in that menu. Super annoying, my Pixel 2 defaults to LDAC. Is there any way to force the use of LDAC / prevent the switch back to SBC? Every time I connect my Sony headphones it shows SBC or AptX (if I select Samsung HD codec) in the Sony utility, and I then need to re-enable LDAC which is not cool.
