Forgot my PIN lockscreen

THIS IS WHAT WORKS!!! I have a google nexus 7 and it worked. i locked the device and could reset my pin to unlock the tablet. THANK YOU!

regarding pin lockscreen, i am trying to install "find my phone" on galaxy s3 but from the pc message is coming "congratulation find my phone will be install soon" as i have install "find my phone" on my other galaxy duos. now i want to install on galaxy s3 which is locked. If you have an sd card in your device (most of us do).....export all your pics...vids..etc...into your sd card. Theres different ways to do that depending on what device you have. Power down and remove sd card. Power up an execute the factory reset. That procedure varies also. Power down and reinstall sd card. Import data or leave it on the card. Device will access data either way. GOOD LUCK

but the "LOCK" needs me to turn android device manager, and mine isn't turned on, how should I turn it on when the phone is locked????

I have the same issue but I have an eclipse 7 Verizon tablet. Helppp. I tired the device finder but my location is off

I'm still learning my way around Android, and my other half is even newer than I am, he locked himself out of his Tablet last night, and I was going BaNaNaS! trying to figure out how to unlock it without a factory reset. so when got it back decided to put a pin on it. . DId that and now if I enter pin the nexus will not open at all. just keeps the numbers there. no movement. How do it get it to start?
I tried entering the wrong pin etc. nothing changes. and holding down the turn on button. Now I can't even get to power off.

Just plug your phone into your computer and copy important files, then install a factory image.
