Since formatting my MicroSD card, I've gotten a slower discharge from 100% - 90%. Users from other forums have also posted similar results. Just thought I would give everyone a heads up. Let us know your results.

I'll give it a shot. I can just mount my drive on the computer, do a copy, format the card, then copy my items back?

Im trying it out now. This is exactly what im doing. Will report back with findings.

just tried it. backed up card and copied everything back. worked fine. Now i'll just wait for the results.

I'm curious about this, I did a factory reset and formatted the card a day after I got the phone and never quite understood all these battery threads...

This will not have any affect. It's more likely an affect from rebooting your phone, not the SD card. SD cards draw a fixed amount of power, period.

Vincent, have you read the posts about the sd card possibly being faulty and causing the power cycles? If that's the case, could it not also be drawing more power?

I was just thinking the same thing....

I took the stock card out on day 1 and replaced it with my 16 gigger from my Touch Pro days, and I still have the dreaded initial drop.

I'm interested in this too... I've got my 16GB rocking at 7GB free, so I'm gonna wait to see what you all post about this lol
