In Lynchburg, VA. The ONLY places that have LTE are Norfolk (large government contracting area/ports) and up near DC. Surprise surprise. Everywhere else in VA is pretty much non-existent. I think last I heard Richmond might be getting the switch but that's a long ways from here. And Lynchburg is a pretty large area with multiple, multiple colleges and a growing population. Even Charlottesville has nothing from Sprint and that's home to UVA and more. I'm just sick of getting maximum 300kb/s around here and good luck getting a signal going outside any major city. The places where I HAVE been able to get Sprint LTE as I travel have been lackluster at best. I'd be lucky to get 4-5 MB/s, let alone a stable signal. Maybe in a few years with the surge of money from Softbank they'll be doing better, but right now, I'd much prefer to pay a little more for data/service. I think even TMobile has 4G here in some areas. Sad.
Now if I was in a city with decent LTE coverage from Sprint, I don't think I could complain. But yea, as long as I'm living here - Sprint is definitely a price leader but their data speeds and coverage are in a sad state of affairs.
