Froyo ETA Set

I'm not rooted and it works great so far.

The swype keyboard has a different look to it. And now you cannot press the search button a second time to go from URL entry to search, it just goes back to the browser.

A quick note. I did not rename, or remove any of the bloat. I decided not to do that until I had Froyo.

That could be why my install went through without any issues.

I fixed my problem with the error 7 logwrapper thing.
It has to do with Koush's recovery.
What he did was replace logwrapper with a symlink to his hijack file but he moved the original to logwrapper.bin
I went into /system/bin renamed logwrapper to logwrapper.bak and then renamed logwrapper.bin to logwrapper.
After that the error went away and it let me patch.
No SBF use required. :)

Google voice search is there on the search widget (first home screen to the right) Just d/l Quadrant and got 1378. I'll run it again after by first reboot. FPS seemed pretty low for most of the test

I'm getting error 7 with system/framework/framework-res.apk

I replaced with stock theme though...

Keys for paid apps: TouchDown and Dolphin HD are not showing up in market :/

What about Free Dolphin HD Cory?

Can you verify:

Launcher Pro
Pure Agenda/Grid Calendars
Beautiful Widgets

Those are the primary ones I want to be sure are still working if I make the switch.

Free Dolphin seems to work fine.

The new battery manager looks cool. New profiles.

Installing drained my battery 20%

They show up, just not the apps with "keys" to unlock the demo period for Touchdown and they the that provided Dolphin the full functionality you get in the paid app. Docs to Go unlock isn't showing up either.

It doesn't look like you can turn off the lock screen anymore either.

Dumb question time. To boot into recovery and install the upgrade....

Do I turn my phone off entirely - then hold Home and press Power?

Or do I leave my phone on and do the hold Home/press Power sequence?
