I'll have to wait to pull it until after work...I get zero service at work and I'm sure I'd be better off doing it over wifi at home.

So should I unroot or stay rooted during the upgrade? Using easyroot at the moment.
I am sure I have to watch the forums on this and I have seen it asked a few times and quite frankly nobody may have a good answer this early into the upgrade.

I think we'll be fine. I mean, in the grand scheme of things, how many X owners are really scouring the forums? Most people will eventually be prompted of an update and will be surprised lol.
I've been running the leaked 2.2 I installed through ROM Manager and loving it. Would love to have the official version, but am concerned about losing root. I can flash back to my old 2.1 set up via ROM Manager and unfreeze all the bloat with Titanium Back-Up...then hit the UNROOT button in Easy Root.

The front page tells me that I can do a manual system update for 2.2. I am not getting it 
I am rebooting the X now and will try again then. I hope I can get it before my 4:30 conference call.

If you keep hitting the button as hard as you can it will show up. Don't mind that screen cracking however...
