Android Central showed some new widgets like News, and upgrades to the current ones.

& how did you get the update, OTA or what?

That may be true. The only widgets that I personally use are the Calender and weather ones. That is all.

I downloaded and installed it. The OTA has not rolled out yet, but I can verify that the file that was posted on this forum IS the exact same update that you will be getting OTA.

The build number's are the same. As I already mentioned, I am a Verizon Software Tech for RIM and Android. I already verified it. Yes, it IS the official version that has COMPLETED testing and is ready for release.

I don't think your getting it. Your title needs to change. Your update was nothing more then the leaked version. You claim to have the "OFFICIAL OTA UPDATE" .... which you clearly do not. I would recommend changing your title and you might find that some people will back off.

This is the official OTA update. It has the SAME build number.

OTA loads it onto the phone differently than a custom ROM installer. That is the only difference.

backup assistant only does your contacts, go to market and try mybackup pro. this will back up all apps and data

A few things I've noticed.

1. The Gmail app is old 2.2
2. The Flash that installs is an older version too

By this, there are newer versions of both available.

So are you recommending for users to not download this?
