the hdmi kernel i have says 2.6.32.15 root@ubuntu #1, but it makes my gallery video player flicker, can someone message me a link to the other one so i can try that one...thanks
when im not using full hdmi app just watching my videos on my phone it flickers, also how do i get the stock hdmi to work for the gallery, when i plug the hdmi in when my gallery is open or closed nothing happensFrom the OP:
"Stability: To achieve hardware acceleration, video memory (minimal) has to be used. Some poorly coded programs that also use video memory will try to grab a hold of the entire memory block instead of the available. This will cause them to crash when you are in hardware mode reserving a small block of memory to yourself. The only application that I found to be doing this is, strangely enough, HTC's Gallery (specifically video playback mode). Gallery video playback will keep trying to acquire the whole video memory, put the phone in a tight infinite loop doing so and eventually force close (after about 40 sec).
Compatibility or software mode does not use video memory and is safe to keep on while launching Galley video playback. Compatibility mode also does not make use of the "supercharged" feature, custom res or fullscreen mode."
You'll need this. Connect PC to TV wirelessly with EZAIR
I had some time this weekend to pull out my car's in-dash and reconnect my HDMI to RCA cable. However, as several people mentioned, it did not work and a converter is needed. The phone would not recognize that it was connected to an HDMI source. Neither the native HDMI function nor the app saw the phone as connected to HDMI. I confirmed the micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter I was using does work by testing it on a TV with a regular HDMI cable.
Just wanted to chime in with that since I did say I would post my results.
Wow ok we need to get Fittek over here explain his fidings and ask him how he was able to make it work. Thats really sucks that it didnt work after you taking out your indash. I tried asking fittek the other day that he should post a video of his setup working but havent gotten a reply yet.
Like I said it really does suck. And who did the install on your indash cuz they should have installed the brain underneath the passanger seat with the connectors facing towards the back or the front of the seat so you can have easy access. Has anybody seen any posts on here from Fittek.Yea, since it didn't recognize the HDMi cord was plugged in, I was never able to play with the resolution to see if I got something to appear on the screen. I was never able to get the service to start. Taking out the radio is not too big a deal......I know my car well and it took my maybe a half hour to do everything. I was just hoping I could back here with good news for everyone.

Pics? Screw pics, you should post a video.i run a pioneer z110bt my high end is all top of the line focal components with matched focal apms 2 for highs. for my bass i removed my rear 40 seat in my truck and replaced it with a huge custom box and a jlw13 with a jl1000.1 powering it. I also run an epicenter 1 rear monitor an xbox360 under the rear seat, all of my controls for ym deck have been integrated into my steering wheel controls and my hdmi is flush mounted into my dash. I also hav a viper alarm with car start and smart start and all 4 window modules replaced so the alarm can control them.
thanks i love my system ive been into systems pretty much since the start of it all. hits amazingly hard for one sub and in a truck. i love messing with people in la traffic, its especially funny when they roll up the windows and think its gonna help at all...lol
what did u want a video of?
keep in mind the only video cam i have at my disposal right now is my evo, i just tried to take a video of me taking video, only thing i could do, and it just really trips out the video camera turns the screen blue and give lots of artifacts.
Id love to just show off my truck and post a vid but i think that would be a bit of a thread jack, if not that then at least totally off topic...lol
Hi all, sorry for the lack of updates lately and the sudden cloak-n-disappear. I have been really busy attending to family matters and continue to, as well as work schedule flying off the sheet right now. I am hoping I will have some time this week, and believe me as much as you guys are eager to get the new apk I am eager to fan it out so I can get my life back![]()
I will keep you updated on whats going on. Non-rooted devices cannot have hardware mode right now and with the delay this feature has officially slipped. On the bright side, software mode landscape is now fullscreen (but choppy as software mode is).
Nice and I see yeah I kenwood Axcelron 817 and I have my brain underneath my passanger seat. Good thing you did your owb install Miami is a ripoff and half when it comes stereo instalation. I know how that feels I havebhad this indash since 05 when they were very expensive. Now you can get the top of the line Kenwood for $500 with almost every option. They have gotten twice as cheap from when I got mine but it still works great and want to keep it for as long as possible.I did it myself. However, my unit has everything built in and there is no separate brain. In order to change any connections, you have to pull the radio out. I have an Pioneer AVIC-D3. It's a few years old now, but it's been good to me. I'll upgrade it when it dies. lol
