Benchmark chart:
Stock/stock= stock rooted rom/ HDMI modified stock rom
Stock/Net= stock rooted rom/ HDMI modified Netarchy kernel
Vael/Net= VaelPak 3.2 rom/ HDMI modified Netarchy kernel

@Apollon I personally don't use fps2d anymore (I find an3dbench to be a better gauge of performance) but will run a bench. Just let me know what resolution and if you want Supercharge on or off

Stock Rom with Net's kernel updated. I still have the VaelPak/Net kernal to run but gotta eat. I will still have to benches done by tonight U.S. Central time.

To those having issues with stock unrooted roms; I'll try to look into it but unrooting, flashing and then getting back to rooted takes awhile. I probably won't have anything for you tonight.

i was asking to run it on the market version, but it looks like you dont have it yet, and apparently it doesnt support 720p yet, which is what i'm looking for, in order to compare performance to the other HDMI product

All this needs kernals doesn't need kernals, I'm a little confused. I just dove head first into buying the app (like I said I would) and I'm running rooted CM6 (since I accidently erased my stock ROM). So is there anyone that can give me a bottom line on whether it works on rooted CM6 with out anything having to be added such as kernals and what not. Just want to get some input before I go home and try the app out. Thanks!

That is exactly how I am using it right now. Just buy the app and if you are rooted you will have great video results on CM6. The only downside right now is the audio only comes from the phone. So you will have to get clever with using the headphone port and connecting to your system that way.

But it's worth it for me to be able to choose my own kernel and rom combination.

Again, if you are rooted, then this works great with any kernel and rom you choose.

Thank you. It's good to know that whatever kernal CM6 is running works just fine. Even though I love tinkering with my phone, I am no expert and so the least I have to download the less chance I have at screwing up my phone. lol. Can't wait to get home and try it. Is there any specific resolution you are running right now that you have belt has given you the best picture quality? And I was also thinking headphone port to home system while I was reading your post. lol.

So when will see the non rooted udated version that has the hardware ability. And I tought it that would have to be properly tested for before going on the market when did it go up. Hardware mode is not implemented for non-rooted devices EvoSickness. I will continue to look for an answer to this problem, and will be a priority after the dust settles from the market release.

Just down loaded the market version and man it is much smoother then beta, I am using the sbc kernel and it seems to work well.

Observations:
Can't get portrat mode to work
Can't get full screen
Angry birds plays with out any flicker
Hulu plays without flicker
Hdmi chip/phone don't seem to get warm any more which is good
With the 480 edtv settings I noticed some cropping of the image

Overall this is looking pretty great, I know the 720 setting is coming, I look forward to testing it, and trying to figure out full screen, probably just need to manually set 1080 settings. Can't wait till work on monday where I can put it thought some more testing. (most of my tests where done there, so only fair to test in same conditions)
