[FullHDMI] Official FullHDMI discussion

I have rooted 2.3.3 EVO. And I downloaded the full hdmi from page one of this thread. All I can get it to do is open. It has a dialogue box asking if I wish to donate and gives me the options buy or no thanks. If I hit no thanks the app closes completely, and if I hit buy it comes up to the market and says sorry this page cannot be found. Did I miss something? Is there some kind of Rom or kernal I'm supposed to have installed first or something? Thanks for any and all info.

The app was pulled from the market by Google. The "Buy" or "No Thanks" window pops up if you:
1. Did not purchase before Google took it down.
2. Bought it through the market and then an event cause your static license to be erased (i.e. uninstalled the app, flashed a new ROM, wiped....etc and did not have the app data backed up). The app cannot authenticate through the market anymore.

The purpose of posting the apk is to support existing users who prefer this app. I do have plans to offer the app to new users again, but that will have to wait at the moment.

Sorry if this has been asked but is there any sense 3.0 and/or 2.3 sense roms that work well with this? So many great roms are out there but with missing Hdmi :(

The app works with all roms up to Gingerbread. Only thing is that GB Sense roms do not have 720p support yet until an accelerated kernel is released for sense BUT STILL runs well on all other settings. The only difference is a LITTLE cut off on the sceen, not even noticeable.

I hadn't noticed any screen cutoff. If you use the custom resolution feature, you should be able to fix anywhere that the screen is getting cut off.

I'm running CM7 nightly 143 date 07272012, kernal 2.6.37.6-cyanogenmod-01504-gdc28eacshade@toxygene #1. I just installed the latest nightly #169 to no avail.
The problem I'm seeing is. As soon as the service says its running my phone freezes and none of the buttons work. I never had any issues until CM7 nightlys switched to 2.3.5.

You know what, I am aware of that feature, but it hasn't been working for me. I'll try over and over again to adjust the size but nothing happens. Happened ever since I came to GB. No biggie, just saying.

Hi, I've been following this discussion for a couple months, and have bought fullhdmi before the takedown, and I have a question. I have just rooted my phone again (old evo had a usb problem, wouldnt charge, got new one, 2.3.3, so forth) and Am trying to get the fullhdmi to work again, however, it keeps popping up saying that:
"The Full version of FullHDMI cannot run along with the free version. Please uninstall both apps, then reinstall the full version."

The thing is, I don't have the free version (I presume the beta) installed, or any other version installed on the phone at the time I installed the 4.1a. Can anybody help me out? I would LOVE to do AR with the HDMI.

Which ROM are you using? Can you attach a logcat of the event? FullHDMI has to be installed on the internal memory, you may get this error if you move it to the SDCard.

At the time, it was Stock 2.3.3 rom, s-off, and I never put apps on the sd card (Because I plug in my phone alot to computers and stuff, so I don't like it when I can't use my apps). But now, I have flashed fresh 4.2, It worked the first day, and now it doesn't. It says it is running, but there is no display (Tested 2 displays that worked before) and sometimes, all I get is snow...

File attached is logcat for the Stock rom.

The app doesnt have root permissions granted. Go to your SU app and make sure FullHDMI is not blocked. Currently you need root to run it.

Turns out, Root is not just s-off, but somthing else also. I have flashed the rooted version of 2.3.3, and everything is working great! Thanks for making such a great app.

One thing I would like to put out there, is there a way to make the orientation of the screen change based on the phones current state? Cause that's the only drawback to this app.

Thanks for your help!

What kernel flavor did you have installed? This is not for Sense only and I tested it on CM7 with stock kernel and it worked fine. I will reload my CM7 and test it again just to make sure.
I'm running CM7 nightly 169, kernal 2.6.37.6-cyanogenmod-01504-gdc28eacshade@toxygene #1. The problem I'm seeing is. As soon as the service says its running my phone freezes and none of the buttons work. I never had any issues until CM7 nightlys switched to 2.3.5.
