I sent the market announcement to testers mainly to make sure all the overhead from market and licensing did not break anything.
I will be making an update today or tomorrow with 720p support, and releasing the latest kernel with the sources here on AC.
this was posted over 27 hours ago..."today" is long gone, "tomorrow" is about to be over as well - any update on that 720p support?
I have been busy trying to get unrooted devices working Apollon. Right now it will work as it was working in the pre-market beta, but I didn't enable it for a reason. I will be looking into the 720p matter next.
Getting a bunch of people saying that they cant get it to work, not realizing that they can try the other resolutions... a quick note on the Market might help.

When I bought the app from the market yesterday I was very disappointed to find out it doesnt support 720p. After you said you'd fix it "today or tomorrow" I stayed up half the night, hoping the new build would arrive...Was very surprised to see after I woke up you've changed your priorities.
Your market app description clearly says "The app requires ROOT for full functionality", so non-rooters, who are the minority here, were warned in advance this app is not for them. Nothing is stopping these people from rooting - they volunteerly chose not to do it, so if you wanna help them out...
What's the word on the official kernel release? Has a github account been set up or will source be a separate download? Both would meet GPL just not sure about the forum.

Nothing is stopping these people from rooting - they volunteerly chose not to do it, so if you wanna help them out and create a version for non rooted devices I think it's only fair to current users, who already purchased your app that you fix the 720p issue for existing users first...
He's trying to broaden his market...What's wrong with that? I'll send you the three dollars if it really bothers you so much apollon

The GPL basically states that the sources have to be available and obtainable as easily as the binary. So I am thinking that a link to the kernel and another to the sources on the front page will suffice. But I am no expert on the GPL so please let me know if you think otherwise.
Are you serious? You sound like a big spoiled kid who didn't get his way!!!! Wait your turn cause just like you us non rooters purchased the app as well and it states in the description that it would work for nonrooters in software mode.
this *IS* my turn - people with rooted phones who bought the app have a written commitment from the developer to deliver 720p support to rooted phones within "yesterday to today" time frame. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he didn't give any time frames for non rooted phones support, did he?... He changed his priorities, leaving all the people who wait for 720p hanging...
Since you're so big on giving me advices about waiting and what I should do I got one for you too: go root your your phone and stop creating problems where they don't exist
