I read in many places that the Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 will end up with android 4.1.2. Its not even going to get 4.2.2 while custom ROMs are already testing 4.3 on the phone. Samsung gave the reason that their latest touchwiz UI is not compatible with the SGS2 so they are not able to update it. But why can't they stick with the same old touchwiz and provide under the hood android update, as every new android version comes with performace and security enhancements? Is there a way to enlighten Samsung about this?

I don't think there is jack any of us could do to Samsung on the other hand though my s2 skyrocket is on 4.1.2 and after using my gs4 active the s2 is sooooo slow now I can't take it, never did bother me when I was using it everyday but back on topic they prob don't waste to much time on our old phones because the newer software features baked into the android os slow the old hardware down I'm all for keeping the old phones up to date but not if the phone Is running like a slug
