G3 keeps switching back to stock keyboard

I've been using SwiftKey for some time now and in the last few days my phone has started occasionally switching back to the stock keyboard on its on.


Anyone else seen this or know how to fix it?

I already tried going into settings and clearing cache and data on stock keyboard and my phone is not rooted.

Have you set your default keyboard in settings.

Yes, but it has reverted back several times.

Just tried uninstalling SwiftKey and reinstalling to see if it helps.
It usually happens about twice a day.

Apparently the clearing cache and data on stock keyboard corrected this issue, it hasn't happened for a few days now.

This happened to me when switching messaging apps I would have to clear the cache to get the notifications to work on the app.

I have had the same thing and it was driving me mad but I discovered that the LG backup is stopping the service every time it runs. So I changed the schedule of the back up to 2 weeks and only get annoyed twice a month now.
