AC Question

I've had this LG G3 for a little over a year, never got damaged in any way. Starting recently (2-3 weeks), when trying to turn Wi-Fi on in my LG G3, the wi-fi sign keeps flashing as if it's trying to connect, and in the menu it says "Wifi turning on" but nothing happens. I can't slide the wi-fi into "off", and it doesn't stop trying to connect and keeps draining my battery in the process.
It also seems that my phone doesn't have a MAC address anymore.

Anyone knows if there's any fix that doesn't require replacing the phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11934

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem. You could try a factory reset.
