G6 Camera

We can be sure that the camera....whether single or dual....in the new phone will be at least good, and possibly outstanding. Of all the phones I've used, only the G4 comes close to the camera performance of the 41mp Nokia Lumia 1020. In fact, in some respects, it beats it. It can't quite match it in croppability and freedom from processing artefacts, but that's the G4....the G6 may be a different matter.

I haven't heard any info regarding the camera, but bassed on how good the V20 is. I think LG would want to even further improve that

I have heard rumbling about a 835 processor with USB-C and a glorious headphone jack! So nice to see that. Additionally 5GB RAM with a QHD display (1440 x 2880). (all rumours)

Yes, the G4's camera is superb - hopefully the G6 follows its lead.

My v20 camera is actually really horrid in ways where my G4 used to shine effortlessly. Bad enough with what i use it for (concerts) that if the g6 isn't better than the g4, ill be gladly getting rid of the V20 and going back. They used some different sensor and my challenging shots are a mess

I love my G4 camera and am hoping that this one is as good or better. Since this phone will have the 821, and not the 835 as originally rumored, the camera will probably be my decision maker on buying this phone or not. But, since I am on my second G4, due to a bootloop after 16 months on my first one, I really want to get a new phone in 2017. I am not a Samsung fan, so if the G6 camera does not cut it, I will wait a little longer and see what the others come out with.

Im in a similar boat. The video motiom stabilization on the V20 is a mess, and not many have commented on getting it to perform properly vs looking like you are recording in an earthquake. After all that hype, it wad a useless, nonworking feature.

The camera took too many steps back from the G4, which was pretty much perfect. The V20 is completely incapable in concert/challenging lighting, that if it remains the same or a slight mod of the V20, ill steer clear. The dac audio was awesome tho, so im left with going back to the g4 and giving up audio, or keeping the V20 and losing the amazing pictures i once took.

Truly hoping the G6 gets is all right. At least they made my decision easier. With the using of the 821, unless the camera is a huge improvement, no motive to make a slight upgrade from the V20. Hoping they nail the camera. Dual, triple, 800 cameras on it. I dont care, just give me ONE that constantly gets good shots.
