Funny. Apple has no problem using it on their flagship iPhone 7+.....
Dude apple used crazy many millions on camera software development, iphone uses 1/3 small sensor still can be pretty good. But none of android camera software come close.

Just because they received money to praise for whatever the product is, it is simple.

I'm willing to bet that this is completely false.

Samsungs and iphones will always get good reviews because they are popular and therefore a good review is more likely to generate more people clicking through and generate ad revenue

Then you know nothing about Camera LOL XD
Then you know nothing about me and to tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about is just plain rude regardless. I was addressing night photo results specifically were the sensor sizes between the flagships is somewhat negliglible. I can make any one of these cameras shoot well in manual so the differences that you see between cameras is because the photos are shot in auto mode and the in-camera processing.

I think the pixel size is more the factor than the actual sensor size
There are many factors and pixel size is just one of them. If we take two cameras with the same amount of pixels and one is larger it will have larger pixels which will gather more light and generally produce less grainy photos.

I do hope LG increase the pixel size going forward.
I know with a tripod and manual settings I can get some great night shots, but I'd like some better on the fly shots.
I'm one of those people who prefer less grain in my night shots and the LG G4 was a great camera for that sort of thing

Agreed... Pixel size is a big factor. I'd rather have bigger pixels than more pixels. I'll be honest though.... When it comes to smartphone photography I only rely on them for convenience. For snapshots they are adequate, but if I want real quality and I know in advance I prefer a dedicated camera.

Welcome to go to any professional camera forum and ask about 6g camera, ask them if this super cheap sensor is acceptable at all.

G6 doesn't give any bigger pixel size comparing to years ago G4. G6 cut cost by having much small megapixal (which mean much smaller photo) to achieve the same pixel size. Very simple they use much cheaper sensor to cut cost, much worse than G4. Look at how bad it is comparing to Pixel or even G4:
LG G6 vs Google Pixel XL vs LG G4 - Phone specs comparison

Your response to my comments has nothing to do with my comments.

Dude... You need to stop being disrespectful and challenging people without any actual facts . I'm beyond basic camera knowledge.

The fact is even comparing to a 2 years old G4, G6 needs to cut down the picture size a lot to maintain the same pixel size which means a much smaller and cheaper camera sensor. This is a fact without being respectful or not. And G6 is using the same camera sensor as the redmi pro which is a $120 dollars phone and available half year earlier than G6.

I would say at this point you've expressed your opinion and the G6 probably isnt for you. No need to continue.

The disrespectful comments I am referring to is that twice in this thread you told me in one form or another and in a disrespectful manner that I don't know what I'm talking about. You can post your opinions or challenge others people's without the personal attacks. I'm done with talking to you actually in any way shape or form.
