First off, you're impossible to understand. 2nd, you're clearly trying to start a fight. The S3 is at least twice the phone that the iPhone 5 is. It can do EVERYTHING that the iPhone can do, but with a bigger screen and NFC. If you want to go back to your iPhone, do it. No one here cares what you do.

You should go back to your iPhone, life's too short. (Couldn't male heads or tails of your issue).

If I was able to translate this mess correctly, I THINK you're upset that some group chat app that you used to like, wont work on your S3 with other iPhone users? I like how you blame the S3 for this because I can use any of those apps with my S3 when talking to HTC phones, Motorola phones, or any other Android device. Therefore, I would say the blame would be on Apple's shoulders.

You can't place a stupid decision by Apple on Samsung's shoulders. Apple makes so many things compatible between other Apple products, but nothing else. Their plan is to force you to buy their products or lose functionality. Samsung however, offers you more integration with a wider range of products. Apple fans love to look at this as a knock on Android, when in reality it proves the greed of Apple and the desire of Android to put more at your fingertips.

If you want a different messaging app, search the play store. I love Go SMS personally. But it's one of the highest rated so if you think it sucks, you probably wont like the others either.

Nobody has forced anyone into going one direction or the other... Some people are iPhone fans and the other side is Android or other platforms (Windows or RIM).

Starting a thread with those type of comments is only going to fuel poor responses.

You are surprised people didn't reply to that mess of words in 15 minutes on a Sunday? Calm down, edit your post so it is easier to read and maybe you will get some answers.

IPhone has iMessage and thats only iPhone to iPhone if that is what you are talking about. There are PLENTY of much better Group Chat apps that are cross compatible with iOS and Android...try getting the app called "WhatsApp"....its an AMAZING messenger and a LOT of people both use it on iOS and Android so you can use that for group chat, its a really popular app

GoSMS is a GREAT alternative to the stock SMS app on the Galaxy S3...its even much better, customizable with themes, passlock, custom LED color notification, and more, I use it a LOVE it.

I cannot even begin to say how much this kind of crap pisses everyone off.

To the OP: You bought the SG3 - either learn to use it, or take it back. If you have questions, ask. However, note that this is NOT a support department. We have no obligation to answer your post, discuss your problems, or otherwise help you.

I notice you gave it 16 minutes before you posted again before posting your BS comment.

You're a class act.

Maybe when people attempt to broadcast undecipherable drivel the S3 automatically blocks it?

LOL, I can kind of feel this guys pain. I've had the 4S since release and recently bought the GS3 because the iPhone 5 was boring. It is a bit of a learning curve coming from iOS but it can be done. With a little time, patience, and Google, the S3 can become 5 times what the iPhone is. (it already is, out of the box, but sometimes it takes awhile to find the Android version of whatever app you used in iOS)

Buwawawawawawawa!

I upgraded from an iPhone 4 to the S3 a little over a week ago. My first frustration was an inability to receive texts from all my friends with iPhones. After a couple of hours I found someone @ AT&T who suggested I put my sim back in the iPhone, power up and disable iMessage. Cycle the phone, put the sim back in the S3 and try again. That worked. Apple's iMessage server was still routing my messages from Apple users to their server and of course they no longer made it to me. This didn't make me frustrated with the S3, but Apple. I suppose it was one of those bumps in the road that are somewhat inevitable when switching from one platform to another.
Personally I am much more satisfied with the S3 than I was with the iPhone. My wife upgraded to the iPhone 5, so I have some experience with it as well. It's a good phone, but I'm glad to be out of Apple's ecosystem that tends to be very closed. I too have had small issues with the group texting issue from iPhone users, but am enjoying exploring options with other apps for managing this. Already trying the Go SMS Pro. Found another suggestion in this thread.
All in all I must say that my Android experience is off to a great start and look forward to learning more from this community!
Al
