Galaxy 8+ battery life decreased hige after recent update

I recently installed the latest update available for my galaxy 8+. The very jext day i noticed that my battery life span went down over 70%. My phone would be on 50% after work and now its dead by 2 pm. I cant use it because if i do (to stream or play games) it will die faster. Samsung tech support told me that the update had problems. Anyone have a suggestion?

Same here. I cleared the cache twice and drained the battery to zero. Still no difference, it still drains too fast.
The only thing left to do is a factory reset and I don't want to do that and loose progress in some games I'm playing.
I may be upgrading sooner than later.

any ideas? Mine also drains it way too fast.
