Oh well. The Galaxy Buds retail for $130, so those of us who pre-ordered can just wait till they're back in stock and buy them. Or pick something else from the Samsung store.

Even if they're sold out, you can always just wait for them to come back in stock and use the gift certificate. You can also get whatever color you want then too.

Instead of e-gift card...why not expand using other colors.

As I said, it's likely they reserved stock for carrier preorders and exhausted their own supply already. They are still advertising the Buds on Samsung.com.

Did live chat earlier, sold through the Samsung website is sold out. Not for preorders though

Unless they set aside a bunch for pre-orders from carriers and best buy, I would bet that they are gone. When it comes to the free gifts Samsung direct orders usually get the free gifts first.

I have a order thru Samsung and have the earbuds, the earbuds say won't deliver till late April. I'm debating about cancelling my order to get the e certificate. I'm not sure if I'll like the earbuds, the e certificate might be better option for me. If it wasn't such a PITA to deal with Samsung customer service, I would just call and have them change it. I'm sure it will be easier to just reorder, the ship by date stays the same. I'm not in a hurry anyway, if I was I would not be going thru Samsung, I'm not expecting my phone till April anyway as it is.

I def want the black ones so an 'eCertificate in the apprx value of gift' would be great to grab them! Would anyone here wait it out to do so? I honestly think they will sell out and they'll have a hard time stocking these wireless buds.

You're completely wrong. I just pre-ordered on Samsung.com and the free buds offer is gone and instead they are giving a $130 e-gift card for future use on samsung.com.

The Iconx had reasonable reviews, but it still lost volume within two months. So far that has been a consistent experience with Samsung headphones.

I'm fine with a credit. MUCH rather have the buds in black anyway even if it means waiting a couple months.

I have no idea or any knowledge of the iconx so i wouldn't be able to help you. If you feel like they were a bad product then simply don't buy/purchase their new offering! Find something else....thats what I'd do.

Well, samsung will either give me a new pair or a gift card. Not sure what to do with a new pair. I don't know where I can trade them in at.
