Galaxy Buds Promo - Did I Order Too Early???

I've been on hold, waiting for Samsung for 30 minutes and counting... hopefully somebody picks up and I can work through this.
 
Called Samsung Promotions and after 1 hour on hold someone finally answered. She said that I'm clearly eligible to receive the buds promo and that she would escalate my claim and try to get it approved. Got a case number and that's it so far.

I pre ordered on 2/24 from Verizon and received the phone yesterday.
 
Well, after 45 minutes, I was disconnected... but not before I was asked to respond to a survey. Anyway, trying again. So frustrating.
 
Funny. I called right back and this time, was given the option for the system to call me back... another 43 minute wait (according to the system). I guess we'll see.
 
And when you finally get someone on the phone they have to transfer you to the promotions dept and another long wait ensues.
 
Finally spoke to somebody and they say they cannot process my promo because it was ordered on the 20th. Trying to talk to a Supervisor (on hold again).
 
After another 45 minutes, I talked to a rep who escalated the ticket to "the highest level they have." Apparently I cannot speak directly to them, but she did... where they denied my claim again. After escalating to a Manager, they're going to resubmit my claim again through an exception clause but at this point, so I guess I just wait for another round.
 
I submitted my request when i picked up my preorder on day 1 Friday and still says in progress. Can someone provide samsung number please.Ian B

Ugh! How ridiculous is that? Nothing like punishing early adopters. Good luck and I hope you win in the end!
 
I ordered directly from Samsung on the 20th about 5 minutes in to the pre-order period. As far as I know ALL pre-orders are/were eligible. I can't imagine they made an exception for BestBuy and started those on the 21.

Hopefully the "highest level" will get it sorted for you. :)
 
I started my process about 30 mins ago an shop samsung app. Uploaded an my pre-order email from Best buy and got a notification in about 15 mins that it had been approved and the galaxy buds would be shipped May 6th.

Submitted and received approval exactly 30 minutes later. Ship may 6.
 
Just got denial for my BB pre-order. I think it was because I uploaded the pick-up release day receipt instead of the preorder email. I just loaded the preorder email and will see.

And just like that, I just got the approval email shipping on May 6th. Damn that is a loooooooong way from now.
