New here but I thought I would ass screenshots of my setup...
Homescreen with center dock. [Dock swipe gestures: Phone= Visual Voicemail.]
Home screen with left dock. [Dock swipe gestures: Places directory= Google Maps.]
Home screen with right dock. [Dock swipe gestures: Gmail= Gmail Mobile.]
Folder on home screen.
Left screen.
Folder on left screen. (google+ removed since I disabled it)
Right screen.
App tray.
I also have one blank screen as the fourth one for fiddling around.
-------------------------------------------------
Here's a list of what I consider my "core" apps.
Home app: Launcher Pro paid version
---
Browser: Dolphin Browser HD (with Adober Flash Player 11.1 also)
---
Music sync: iSyncr
---
To increase low speaker phone volume : "Volume+ (works well for the ringer and notifications, but I still find the speaker phone about useless for calls)
---
Notification light colors: Light Flow Light
---
Facebook conacts sync: HaxSync
---
Oh crap wheres my phone: Where's My Droid
I would consider those the core apps of my phone.
Don't mind the root apps included in my screen shots. I'm not rooted yet, but I plan on rooting soon so I just set my layout up with my root apps in there respective places.
--------------------------------------------------
I've had the phone for 3 days now and haven't run into any problems other than the dreaded low speaker phone volume which I peg legged with "Volume+", and the keyboard being laggy in landscape which come to find out seems to be a known bug.
I do have an "issue" where I can't add a swipe gesture or shortcut to my bookmarks & downloads since I am using Dolphin Browser HD (they take me to the stock browsers bookmarks & downloads). I think that's an expected "issue" though.
I love the phone though. It's day and night from my overclocked droid1 I came from. Although I do still get keyboard withdrawals I think they will pass with time. I think the phone will suit my needs for some time to come.
Cheers,
-Tyler
