Galaxy Note 3 - Case & Covers Thread

Well, dropped my Note 3 onto concrete which was wet and had salt and grit. It fell approximately 3 feet on the bottom left corner nd bounced about 4 inches, landing screen up. Zero visible damage to the phone and three very small nicks on the painted part of the case. I am using a Spigen Slim Armor case and it is "bad azz" after this experience. Worth every hard earned penny I paid for it!

Neo Hybrid is the ultimate case. First bought it for my S4 and people were always inquiring about it. Just upgraded to the Note 3 and ordered the gold for my wife and silver for myself. Very elegant case which does not add bulk.

No the Neo Hybrid is pretty thin.

It's thin yes but makes the phone slightly wider which makes it a bit harder to hold.

Love the looks of it but may end up returning it for something else.

Going to install my fly grip and see if it helps

Same here.

Got mine on Saturday and the design is great. However, compared to my Diztronic, that slight width increase is too much for me. I'm returning the case and sticking with Diztronic. If I had an S5 with a Neo Hybrid than it would be fine.

Its about $10 on Amazon. Its a Diztronoc Matte Black TPU. Extremely slim and the buttons are covered.

I tried it and returned it after trying it out for a couple days. The plastic part of it was too slippery for me. I'm running with the Otterbox Defender and loving it.

I'm looking at the Defender too, but quite frankly it seems ridiculously expensive for a glorified piece of plastic.

Decided to go with a Bodyglove case. Nowhere close to as heavy duty as the Otterbox, but I like the look and feel of it. I decided I didn't want something that would make the phone too bulky.

Ordered a home button from mime as well but it's not here yet. I literally threw away the otterbox. I didn't buy my phone for it to be horrendously ugly. With the uag and mime I have more than enough protection.

I think the Otterbox Defender for this phone looks great, feels exceptionally well in my hands, and offers great protection. Only downside to me is that it's adds just a little bit of extra weight to my phone, but I it's worth it.

Otter boxes don't look at bad... it depends on your color choice.

I just installed my Spigen Neo Hybrid case with the metal slate trim ring and it looks fantastic. And it is not bulky at all. In my opinion it improves the way my jet black Note 3 looks and it feels better in the hand compared to the standard stock casing.

I have the same case and I get nothing but compliments about it. Gives it a more professional look without the bulky appearance.
