Galaxy Note 8 Tempered glass screen protector

I think I posted this to the wrong thread before so sorry if this is a repeat. I've read good things on here about the Whitestone Dome, but on the Amazon product description it says...

"Blue-Light Cut feature: Human eye-protection. Blue-light cut feature combined. 25% decrease of blue light."

Is this a noticeable change in the display color? Has anyone had an issue with this?

I just got a response from Bodyguardz in reference to my inquiry as to when the Pure Arc ES would be out for the N8. They said it would be mid-November since they had some issues with the initial batch. That's the full adhesive one I'm holding out for.

Also waiting for this.

Reviews ain't very positive about Pure Arc ES for the S8+. Seems like a lot of people complain about the black bar at the edges. Some say it peels off and some say it prints off too.

Yep.

As for the black bar. mine seems to have been printed off by a bit and has left a rather annoying line of screen black bar and then the rest of the screen. as well as if you miss place it even a fraction of a bit it'll disrupt the flow of the screen.

I've done some research, and want to buy a glass protector b/c I think it will be superior to the film protector I have on my N8 now. The film protector looks awesome, but it's not that great for stylus work.

So, for those of you that have been buying/researching glass protectors, is there one/two brands that basically float to the top?

Whitestone seem to get most praise so far but it's early days yet with the N8 only out a month.
I tried a Spigen film one and it was a bit of a disaster even though Spigen have a fairly good name.
I got an Ikalula before going on holidays and it is quite heavy duty and thick but worked great, it lifted a bit in one corner and a little dust got in under it so took it off when I got home, waiting for a smash-it to arrive next week so will put up a review then

Wow - I've done my research, and unless I am missing something, there just doesn't seem to be a true front-runner on the tempered glass front for N8's. Whitestone gets lots of props, but it's not highly-rated in most of the reviews posts I've read. Hard to pay that price for something that doesn't seem to work well for most N8 owners.

Every brand seems to struggle to not:
- Fall off
- Collect copious dust/hair along the edges
- Lose or totally ruin sensitivity
- Cause moire patterns, or other visual noise

And, for all of that, you get to pay $40 - $50!! Maybe we just have to wait since these are early days??

I welcome suggestions on this!

Yeah, I'm just going to wait until, hopefully, they get the kinks worked out and someone comes out with a good one. I'm using a $10 plastic full adhesive one from Walmart and it's got issues as well.

The stupid (IMO) curved edges are the only thing causing all these issues. I'm guessing that extremely slight variations in the manufacturing process of either the phone screens or the protectors makes it so some people love their protector and others can't seem to get one that fits or lasts without eventually having issues. Add to all that, the user installing them in not exactly the same way and it all adds up to a mess that would be completely prevented by having a FLAT screen.

Whitestone Dome is the only and best way to go! Not so great reviews are probably from people who find it difficult to install, and messed up... It's the best - watch the instructional video, take your time, and you won't be sorry!

at that price they can stick it where they're tallest when the pick strawberries :-)
