Galaxy note doesn't recognize 32MB usb stick

I have a problem with my new galaxy note 10.1 tablet.
I use an OTG adaptor to connect it with my 3 usb sticks.
No problem with the 8gb.
But with 16 and 32 gb when I connct them, I get an instant blink of "my files" and nothing happens.
What can I do?

I've used 32GB sticks with my 10.1. But if I remember correctly, I needed to use a powered USB hub to get them to read. Some of the thumb drives need more power than the Tab can supply by itself.
