Hey I am really tired of getting the following request in my notification screen. I can cancel but it just keeps coming back. I have never used Picasa and have no desire to do so now regardless ofhow good it is. Any ideas how to get this to go away?

It doesn't look like my photo uploaded. I'm not concerned with the Daynote phote.

Re: Unwanted Notification Request

Not realizing it I have the same annoyance. I have tried different settings (setting and clearing) but I have not stumbled upon it yet.

I’ll be watching this thread; we have all the help we need with this forum and crew.

Re: Unwanted Notification Request

There is a Picasa Uploader under settings-applications-all apps tab. When you click on it try turning it off and see if that helps.

Also go into settings-accounts and then open the google account and click your gmail and down at the bottom uncheck picasa web albums and anything else you do not want to be backed up/synced with your google account. You will need to do this with each google account if you have more than one associated with the tablet.

Perfect. I think this fixed it for me . I'll post back tomorrow when I'm sure that it's gone for good.

I still haven't noticed it back yet so maybe this pain is finally gone!:)
