Galaxy S10 Edge Lightinig doesn't work when screen is turned off.

Hello,
I recently bought the new Galaxy S10.
Edge Lighting works when the phone is on, but not when it is turned off.
I googled the web for a solution, to no avail...
Is there, or will there be a fix for this issue?

double check if you have download Samsung Good Lock with edge functionality see if its interfering.

Never downloaded it..
Can't say why the Edge Lighting doesn't work when my screen is off.
I don't think I'm the only user experiencing it.

Make sure you allow notifications on , but if you get a text or phone call should definitely light up for few seconds

I have mine set to always but when my screen is off it's on the screensaver so is that why mine doesn't light up?. I just realized this and mine is set to on I never see the lighting around the edge anymore and I used too. I need to double check my settings or it's cause of screensaver maybe.

This gizmo has never worked for me since my Note 8 days. Edge lighting that is.

Only works for stock apps like SMS and emails. But that is all that works for me, otherwise notta..

I thought you could pick which apps you wanted it to light up for. I don't remember it being stock only.

Weird cause mine hasn't been working neither. I need to double check. I just realized I had my phone re-flashed. Mine only had 2 apps set to be notified but now I have 9 and Facebook messenger isn't an option I use that a lot.

It works for me only when the screen is on, when it's off nothing happens.

Same here... Doesn't work with screen off...sometimes works when i receive whatsapp CALL

Works with Textra for me. Screen off or on.
