Galaxy S2 wont take pics or vids

Hi My samsung galaxy s2 just suddenly one day, decided it no longer can be used as a camera in any way shape or form. I can bluetooth pics and vids from my tab to my phone and then MMS them on, but it is a lot of messing around. I have done a factory reset and it made no difference. I also tried removing the battery and reinserting it and yet again, no difference. I am lost as to why this has happened, can anyone suggest anything?

Welcome to Android Central! Might just be a hardware failure. The S2 is a pretty old phone, so it wouldn't surprise me.
