Galaxy S5 MicroSD question?

My concern would be fake cards. I would suggest buying from an established vendor.

However spec wise it would work

The seller who sold me a fake had a 99% positive rating. All he did was take the listing for the fake ones down once reported and put up a new listing for the same product.

The fact that Ebay continues to provide a storefront for that kind of thing has led me to completely boycott them. I won't ever buy anything from Ebay again. To me, they are contributing to the sale and interstate movement of counterfeit goods by allowing them to be sold as well as endorsing the same crimes by not doing anything about it.

I even took the fake into Best Buy and showed it to the Samsung rep who just said that Samsung doesn't even bother with trying to weed them out of Ebay.

But the fake looked like the real thing, though, aside from beng black on the back side.

Thanks for the input.

Unfortunately I didn't subscribe to see replies to this thread and have already bought the one on eBay.

It hasn't arrived yet, but I suspect there is a way to look at the numbers in the phone to verify that it is authentic Samsung.
Can someone tell me where I would look?

Thank you!

I didn't want to chance a bad card, so did a little looking. Found a 64 gig SanDisk for 29.88 or so at a Walmart. I was going to a Staples in same shopping center anyway. Took a pic just in case. Found the same exact card for 35 bucks at Staples. Showed them the Walmart price and the matched it and I had a 15% off digital coupon to use as well. So 25 bucks for a micro SDXC 64 gig 80 MB/s
