I pre-ordered yesterday also but still says preparing to ship. As usual with AT&T, no rhyme or reason to their processes.

yeah i remember with an iphone i pre-ordered at the minute they starting taking them came about 2 weeks after launch. your hands are tied i guess

I assumed I would receive it on Friday, so any time before that will be great.

First Android phone so I am anxious to get my hands on it.

The AT&T website now says that the galaxy s5 will ship on April 8th, so we all should see our shipping notifications soon!

Eh..So hmm note 3 or s5 im leaning towards note 3..

With the ip67 rating and better display, I'd take the s5 or wait for note 4.

Note 3 is already a 7 month old device

While I would normally just say store reps know less than a kindergartner on anything, I do have a feeling all US carriers will have this out within the first week. Too bad Verizon will be LAST as usual, likley a Tues/Thurs launch after AT&T, T-Mo, Sprint get theirs out on 4-11-14

Verizon has always been the last to release the Samsung galaxy s line

For what it's worth and to bolster what others have said, I just chatted with a Verizon rep through their website and was told "sometime in April." Hopefully April 11 like everyone else...

I would have to say end of April for Verizon. They need to give the M8 as much time as they can. The S5 will sell itself for Verizon.

This site (never been on it before so I don't know what its reputation is like) is speculating that VZW hasn't announced anything about the S5 because it's contemplating an early release in light of the precedent set by the Korean carriers. Not sure I entirely buy that (especially considering the link to supposed "hints" dropped by VZW is broken), but one can hope...

I doubt they will do that. Verizon never bends the rules.

Considering how late vzw always is with releases I don't think they'll release early. Would surprise me quite a bit if this is true.

Any word on the Sprint release? I'm hoping to get it before the 11th. Last year the s4 shipped early too.

That's what I'm hoping for. To ship so it is delivered by the 11th

Otherwise if it ships then, it's a Friday and the earliest date would be the 14th, the following Monday

The rep I just chatted with said it's supposed to ship on the 11th, but it could ship before then. Real helpful haha. I still will probably get it from Best Buy because I got in on that $50 off a new phone deal before it ended. Hopefully they'll have it on the 11th.

I just pre-ordered at Best Buy. I should get the $10 pre-order offer, $50 new phone deal that I registered for in February, and a $50 trade-in for my old phone. Combined with some rewards points, the phone should cost me less than $80 + tax.

I don't know if I can wait another week! Getting excited to have a new phone!

Hopefully you will be the first batch. Some people who pre-ordered late with best buy had to wait a few weeks with the s4 and s3

They said I will be notified when my phone is available and I can purchase it in the store. I put down $25 to hold the phone and in return they gave me a $25 gift card to use towards the purchase. I guess I am not really obligated to buy the phone at this point.

Or you could return the gift card now. They didn't allow it before

Glad to hear some of us are getting this phone soon. I'm waiting for my confirmation email from sprint. Anyone from sprint heard anything yet?

Well still nothing this morning for me.

I'm in the same boat. Still nothing And i had a heart attack because there was a glitch in the AT&T system this morning that said I didn't have any pending orders, but now my order is back

I ordered with TMobile but no news whatsoever yet. I ordered at 3:55am EST the morning it went live. Started at 3am but their site was down/non-functional. No news at all since then.
Anyone else with experience with TMobile?

I was thinking. Both my younger brother and I are getting the white S5 from ATT. Our phones have shipped. Our other brother is getting the black S5 from ATT. It has yet to ship.

It could mean their are either more orders of the black phone than the white and or the black phone "COULD" be in shorter supply (not as available as the white phone) compared to the white phone.
