On April 27th my Galaxy S5(Verizon) displayed an alert saying that:
"I was using the wrong cable and it was shutting off charging for safety. Connect the original cable that came with the phone." I was using the original charger and cable. After some investigation, I cleaned my USB phone connector with contact cleaner and blew It out with compressed air. I haven't seen the problem reoccur for 4 days now, but I ordered a new USB power connector from EBAY anyways. Will update later.
