Post any good deals you find on the Galaxy S6 Active.

-There was a limited time sale (presumed to be a system error) on the AT&T site where people were getting the phone for as low as $390 outright - however "glitch" has been fixed, back to retail price of $695
-Best Buy is offering $100 Gift Card with purchase of S6 or S6 Edge under AT&T Next plan. Emailed them today whether offer is valid on the S6A as well. Will update when I hear back

So far that's it. Waiting to see if Amazon will offer anything

I bought mine yesterday from BB and got the $100 GC. It automatically rang up that way. I'm thinking it applies.....I'm not that lucky for that kind of error to just happen to me.

You guys who say you got the gift card you bought it "outright": do you mean you paid the full $695, or did you do the Next plan? Not working for me when I try to buy it at full price.

I went to BB and the guy wasn't sure if the gift card would apply or not, so he actually got one out and went through the sale, as though I were actually buying one. After about three or four minutes of different screens, it popped right up on his display to choose which promotion I wanted, and the $100 GC was right there. He had entered this as a Next-24 purchase, if that helps.

I'm probably going back today and pickup up two of these. Our M7's have been about as wacky as can be, for the past couple of months. Calls and texts not ringing through, etc.

I've done both, and to be honest, there was no difference that I noticed, other than price. You also want to make sure you check what your return options are; you may have a different amount of days to change your mind, or there may be "restocking fees" involved, so get that info before pulling the trigger.

Just returned from BB. They have a 14-day return period, but no restocking fee, so that's not too bad. I should know within 14 days if I see anything I'm really scared by. Sadly, I didn't come home with two new phones, because BB doesn't have ANY of the white ones (not even on their website), and that is what my wife wanted. Probably end up with a gray one and a blue one.

I bought an S2 at Wal Mart years ago that was obviously handled by a third party. I returned the phone & got the refund via Wal Mart, but my upgrade status was jacked up for like a month as the third party(not Wally World) never made the adjustments to my account. Took a little while speaking with AT&T customer service to get it all worked out. Have only bought at carrier store since. Though am sure the retailers have since gotten better over the years.

I usually put the insurance from AT&T (Asurion) on my phones for the first year. Can you get this same insurance when buying a phone from Best Buy? Or does Best Buy offer some other insurance/service plan on cell phones?

I got my $100 Gift Card at Best Buy today when I picked up my S6 Active.

It worked out even better than I thought it would. In Michigan, we have to pay the sales tax up front, which is about $42 per phone. Two phones and three wireless chargers (price-matched at $33.50 each) came to $190. Best Buy let me use the 2 gift cards on that, so I had no out of pocket expense. Works for me!

So, I went back and got a third one today. Mom decided she needed one, too, after seeing ours. Can't say enough about the BestBuy experience. The two associates I dealt with were both top -notch and really knew the equipment.

By chance, the att rep was in the store, so I asked why you could not get the white S6 Active at Best Buy. He told me because Best Buy didn't buy any! It was not att holding anything back, just the store thinking what would sell and what wouldn't.
